John is now the head of lowboy maintenance! John was a company driver who spent most of his days playing around with his truck, rather then getting his @$% out there and working like the rest of us.
Anytime there wasn’t a load on the board that John liked, all of a sudden something needed to be fixed! Gary not having a clue about what was going on, instead, rewarded John with a $25 an hour maintenance position.
His job description now? Driver: John, I need brakes. John: Ok, let me talk to Gary. Driver: John I need a comcheck to pay for the brakes. John: Ok, let me get that for you. And let me add that he answers the telephone too!
Since January 1st, I have been broke down, close to two months due to the lack of preventive maintenance.
