Auto Truck Transport belongs basically to a monopoly called JHT Holdings. This company is responsible for the logistics of nearly 95% of the new truck market in the nation using several sub companies including Auto Truck, Unimark, Allied, etc.

News: Former owner Dennis Troha indicted. Google him!

Auto Truck Transport has a contract with the IAM or International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers until November 1st of 2007. On July 21st, 2007 the company has chosen to get rid of the lowboy division.

Management at Auto truck lack something called Common Sense! Like most organizations the good news rises, while the problems below stay covered up. The terminal at Baltimore has had quite a few complaints from our customers over the years and still nothing has been done. We have given this company a number of suggestions of what to do to resolve problems, but still nothing has changed.

Instead, the drivers are the ones taking the hit financially, physically and spiritually. Instead of getting more work, Auto Truck would rather spend [their] time digging into our paychecks and finding excuses not to pay us.

Like most companies, Auto truck hires managers with good bullshitting skills, rather then common sense managing skills. When the managers screw up, its the workers who have to take up the slack via their log books.
