Insufficient Funds

I just got another email today saying that I have insufficient funds. It’s going on 3 months now and payroll is still withholding one of my paychecks. I told Gary about this 2.5 weeks ago and still no deposit has been made into my account. So, now I am being slammed with bank fees because this company continues to take its sweet azz time paying us and continues to screw with our pay.

To make matters worse, my truck is broke down again. So far its been broke down for two months this year. And I have yet to be paid any breakdown and/or delay time since February. I was broke down for an additional two weeks last month and still waiting for that payment to be authorized. Last week I turned in my breakdown request, a week and a half later I get back from a trip and he tells me, “I’m still working on it”.

How much is enough?

I get an email fom my cousin in Texas today, with pictures of the new home he is building. He is a union firefighter, married with kids a dog. His job is sooo relaxed … works two days a week, gets paid for sleeping, the guys take turns cooking at night, no ass kissing … Its just a brotherhood of guys all working together.

I drive by his home every now and then, but haven’t had time to see him in over three years. Sad to say, I am ashamed of who I have become. I used to be the big brother who was always there for advice. Now, as hard as I have worked through the years, I have no stories to tell about a home or raising a family …. because of the negative enviromnent I had chosen to work in.
